Me to Ryan: Go brush your teeth and wash your face.
Ryan: Then put on my clothes.
Me: No, you can change them at Grandmommy and Granddaddy's.
Ryan: You mean I will have to change clothes at school.
Me: (After hiding laughter) - No sweetie, you will have your clothes on before we leave the house for school.
Back to School Fair (8/15/09)
The kids had their vision checked at the fair. Becky and Cooper went first (vision fine for both), then it was Ryan's turn. He looked into eye check viewer (you know the one that has numbered rows of letters) and got really quiet. The technician and grandmommy both told him to read the letters. He would not talk. So he had to go into the other room where grandmommy pointed the letters out on a chart and he read them. He is a little far-sighted but the doctor said that was good.
The next day Ryan was telling mommy the story of his eyecheck and made the following statement:
Mommy, they had me look in this box and wanted me to read the letters but those were not words.
I guess nobody told him it was just a string of letters -- ha ha!!!!!
Below is Ryan with the technician (the former Patsy Smith of Kopperl). Mother believes she and my Uncle Otis were in the same class.
