Dance competition July 18th - 19th SPI

Becky wanted to compete this summer at the American Spirit Summer Championships in South Padre Island. It is a more relaxing competition. The girls only do dance which is hip hop. They love that part!!!

Vince Becky Ryan and I were scheduled to leave Wednesday July 15th however due to Cooper's tournament, as you will read in a later post, we had to postpone leaving until Friday morning July 17th.

We thought we were doing really good getting to Padre by 4:30pm. However when Vince and the kids got to the room, the A/C was frozen. Had to wait an hour for maintenance to come and say it was frozen before they would give us another room. We finally got in our new room about 715pm.

We had a whirlwind trip coming back Sunday evening late!!!!!!

Becky was on the Junior Hip Hop team. They were Summer National Champions!!!! Video is below-she will be on your left for most of the routine.

Becky also competed her individual dance routine from this past year. She tied for fourth place. There were nine competitors and considering that Becky did not start practicing the routine again until about a week and half before the competition. We all were proud of her!!! Please stay tuned to the team video her individual routine follows.
